Job Duties

The warehouse purchasing clerk helper will:

  • Assist in the purchasing of equipment, materials, and supplies as requested by the department managers and customers.
  • Create all sales orders for inventory purchases.
  • Post purchase orders into Sealand computer systems and process corresponding paperwork.
  • Update parts pricing spreadsheet with current prices as needed.
  • Maintain inventory items and update bin locations within our computer system.
  • Meet with customers regarding purchases of inventory items.
  • Prepare quotes for projects as requested by estimating and ECO companies.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness of the office area and warehouse.
  • Assist with clerical duties when needed.
  • Pull parts for technicians.

Requirements

The warehouse purchasing clerk must be:

  • Able to read and write in English.
  • Able to operate basic office equipment such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Able to lift 30 pounds.
  • Able to become forklift certified.

Experience in Microsoft Excel and Word is preferred.
